Aim

To equip learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to design, deliver, assess and evaluate training programmes.The focus is on giving individuals and businesses the competitive edge by optimizing skills and knowledge, while at the same time providing successful participants with a National Qualification.

Who should apply?

An effective communicator, who wishes to develop the skills to undertake training work. Please ring (details below) to receive further information to help you evaluate your capacity to undertake this programme successfully.

Entry Requirements

 Level 5 Certificate, Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualifications and/or relevant life and work experiences. A reasonable standard of spoken and written English is desirable. Relevant prior learning may be taken into account.

Certification

FETAC Level 6 Component Certificate (E30179 – ‘Train the Trainer’. See http://www.fetac.ie/modules/E30179.pdf). Participants wanting to obtain certification must undertake assessment work. Full attendance is necessary, and it is the learner’s responsibility to achieve the award.

(Other FETAC courses offered by MTS Consulting include Supervisory Management, Safety Management, etc) FETAC offers a defined awards progression route under the National Framework of Qualifications. This award may be combined to achieve a major award on completion of further study/programmes. It could also lead to career and job-search advantages.

Training methods

Short Power-point presentations, Group exercises, experiential role-play, case studies, simulation of training delivery. Trainer with 25 years management experience, 10 year as trainer/coach, and FAS-approved.
